ASSP Central Indiana Chapter partnered with BCSP (Board of Certified Safety Professionals) to bring together safety professionals to advance the conversation around PPE fit—and Rugged Peach Workwear was on the runway.
It was the right room, the right audience, and exactly the kind of conversation this product was built to be part of.
The garment showcased is ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 Class 2 Type R compliant and designed to maintain proper fit as the body changes—without relying on sizing up or modifying standard unisex gear.
Because when fit changes, protection changes.
And when PPE doesn’t fit correctly, workers are more likely to adjust it, remove it, or work around it altogether. That’s where risk enters the system.
Maternity-fit PPE is not a specialty request—it’s part of maintaining a complete and compliant safety program.
This moment reflects a broader shift: safety programs are starting to account for proper fit across the workforce—not just the average.
If this came up at your site tomorrow, would your program already have an answer—or would it be handled reactively?
Explore our maternity-fit PPE or share this with your safety team to review.
